Depois de 55 anos de casados, um dia ela foi morar junto com Deus…

Durante todo o velório os filhos choravam copiosamente, e ele não derramou uma lágrima, nenhum lamento. Se manteve firme ao lado do caixão o tempo todo.

Depois do enterro, os filhos o chamaram na sala e perguntaram como ele estava.

- Feliz. - Ele respondeu.

- Feliz? Como assim pai, feliz? A mãe morreu e o senhor está feliz? - O mais velho perguntou assustado.

- Sim, feliz. Porque Deus foi muito bom com ela. Ele a levou antes para que ela não sentisse a dor que eu estou sentindo agora.
